Title: Second Hand Simulator
Post by: jagjit on February 15, 2011, 01:32:59 AM
Hey All,

Anyone out there wants to sell their working Simulator (preferably Bangalore to prevent shipping). Don't wanna spend too much on it as it may not come to use after sometime.

Do all radio's work like simulators? I found some provide a cable to program the radio (fly sky), can that work as simulator cable

Any radio with a trainer port should work with appropriate cables and sim software.

You require a radio-plug (Different for different radios) and U.S.B dongle to go in computer, that's also is programmed to interact with different SIMS, this dongle converts signal from Radio to a Signal which Sim can understand.

You should have decided on a radio or already have one before getting this. Or get one with multiple plugs.

to cut the long story short, which is the radio that you have ? incl futaba sky sport (ancient) can be connected to the PC and used as a sim,
This one caters for most pins except Futaba, which sai has again, call him up
http://cgi.ebay.in/FLIGHT-SIMULATOR-FLY-SKY-CABLE-/150524319404?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_203&hash=item230bf2d6ac (445 Rs)

I have connected using sai's cable, Futaba Sky sport, Futaba 7C 7 CAP, HK 6c, Skyartec, Turnigy 9c, all using different pins.
