Title: Simulator USB Dongle Post by: DhruvChavan on February 18, 2013, 06:43:59 PM I downloaded phoenix v3 simulator, thanks to torrents. connected tx by audio cable and installed ppjoy and smart propo plus. this way it works with the free simulators as FMS, but the graphics and all aren't that good. and i already have phoenix installed and working in my pc but only thing is phoenix needs a usb dongle to detect the tx. i could just buy one but due to boards closing in my parents not letting me buy anything. So I want a usb simulator dongle, any will do i think. after alot of reading on rcgroups forum there was a solution that the phoenix v3 cracked would work with any usb dongle. but the normal one (blue one) isnt compatible with phoenix as per its description . the forum post in rcgroups said that any sort of usb dongle would work because the phoenix just needs to detect the tx. where as the other usb (white one) is compatible with phoenix asper its description. So if anyone has any old or extra usb dongle lying around at their home, would like to give it to me? if not i'll have to wait more than a month for exams to get over then i'll have to order it. (any dongle would do because i want to see if it works. and i think i'll just take a wireless one after my boards as aditya told me it has no compatibility issues. But i get like 3 hours a day break from studies so rather than just sitting around i can use simulator and get used to the controls) :)

And if this works with any usb dongle, i'll post whatever i did so everyone can download it and use it with just any dongle. And you stay in navi mumbai, i stay in bandra, so i can pick it up and also send it back. If you dont have any extras then no problem :P Any ways thanks for reply :)
