I need a couple of tail rotors for my PicooZ Palm size Heli. the original broke today and I just can't seem to find the spare which came along with it. Anybody out there with spares? It was an expensive purchase and flies great, would hate to waste it.

Regards.

Not really (based on having got the chance to play with them couple of times).

Going for something like the Model Art one would be a much better investment.

With all due respect, I'm assume that the Modelart type Heli with a Gyro is far more stable, however, with a bit of weight (around that of a paper clip) under the nose, the Silverlit Picooz is more than worth its weight in styrofoam. It is addictive!

Cheers!

'The video proved my point again Wink  Now "being fun and addictive"... that is in the mind of the beholder and I agree they are fun Giggle

The 3ch ones with gyros will hold their tails, if you trim it right and apply rudder correctly, instead of doing piros whenever they feel like.

Around the 1:19 mark (just after the cellphone rings), as I was distracted, she meets the oncoming blast from a 1.5 ton AC and starts to pirouette. She recovers from it too. My fault.  Bang Head

There is a point though, I paid Rs.1895/- for her in 2008. There are, probably, far better ones available today at that price. It is a testimony to the craftsmanship of Silverlit that she has lasted so long......... Salute
