Hi Guys,
This is my first post in the RCI forums, but you'll find me at various R/C hangouts like RCGroups and DIY Drones. I am from Kolkata, India and am designing a fully autonomous UAV. My team consists of myself(aged 13) and two of my cousins(21 and 23) from Jadavpur University,Kolkata. Our DIY UAV navigates using GPS and has a full set of sensors to complement it.
Each of our team members has our designated jobs. I am doing the navigation systems,telemetry and autopilot design. Between the two of my cousins,they work on the airframe, finding flying areas and are my ground support team if I am flying FPV.

Manual control via Logitech Attack 3 joystick
Delta-Wing airframe with KFm3 airfoil (Depron + Plywood)
Full FPV support with Pan-Tilt mount.[yet to be implemented]
At the moment, our airframe is being constructed and all the electronics are ready. Joystick has been ordered from FlipKart and is due to arrive within a couple of days.
Our problem is that we are having difficulty in sourcing the batteries and a charger without going
overbudget. Seeing what a nice community RCI is, I decided to appeal here. Remember, if we successfully design this, it will be one of India's most advanced birds in the sky.Hope you guys will be able to help us!
The battery specs. we need is:
- 2200 mAh capacity
- 3 cell 11.1v(only)
- 25C atleast
Any good charger will do, as long as it can balance the cells and does not destroy the batteries.
