the easiest way to get access to one is by using 9v DC batteries, you can find it easily in any local store there. I am not sure if you can find the proprietary 9.6v battery.. maybe make one using 8 x 1.2v cells

Information sharing improves knowledge of both.
Use three nos three cell pack of AA cells. That are same or low in price and higher in capacity, durability and lighter in weight. Recomended not to use old cell. You costs Max 120 Indian Rupees for that (I purchase 90 Indian Rupees per cell). It has low discharge rate too. Capacity 1600mAH

3.6V, 1600mAH, AA size NiMH cell for 90 Indian Rupees.
Just make 3 pack in series.

I can post you if your local price > My street price + Postage. (No Business but helping).

The cell is the leftmost one. Surely you can find in telephone shop. It is used as Cordless Phone Battery.

If you are based in Mumbai, go to lamington road market and check for a battery pack maker very close to ICICI bank ATM who can make any specified 9.6V battery pack at Rs. 500.00

 Huh? thats a charging pin I guess? and I thinks it is used to charge battery pack for toy car or heli.
