Laser cut is good for wood i dont think it will be good with glass fiber sheet. I need machining.

Vivek - can you do custom laser cutting of aeromodel kits  ?

do I have to send the files or can you work from plans.

Yes I can get them cut, and a CAD file (dwg or dxf) will definitely save time as we need to have them for the cutting in best tolerances.

I suggest you check out Justdial or similar sites.
I got custom laser cut balsa parts from thane.Similar services are available around mahape and ghansoli too.
The guy at thane charged based on time something like 7 rupees per min.

By the way Vivek,
Your Balsa wood panels and liteplay I bought from you last year is fantastic value for money and best quality I have had so far  from any Indian suppliers.

Your propellors are great too for the price you are charging for them as I can pay upto RS 600 // £6 +postage for APC propellors and it hurts everytime one has a bumpy landing...

Thanks for the samples of horns in plastic ..... Not impressed by their quality... Common you can do better than that.. your dyes in these are probably older that me..its about time you had some new dyes considering the quality that is available from China at a fantastic price....

However your servo keeps (The small screwy things instead of z-bend) are fantastic quality and so reasonable I am going to order 20 more for my workshop..

Must compliment you on the strength of your steel wire undercarriages too..

Are you doing any light weight ready made piano wire electric undercarriage sets as the HOBBYKING'S BIXLER.... I have had to buy a few for my depron planes...would be nice if you do..

Also what happened about the CNC cut kit of that 46 size or electric WOT4 look alike aeroplane you were creating..Are they ready..

Sushil Anand just sent me a message and will contact you too.

I am interested in a CNC kit of ACRO WOT electric if you have please..
Thanks
Deepak

Hi Deepak
Many thanks for the Comments & Advice  {:)}

As for the Horns and some other accessories, they are already from NEW moulds, I will send you some samples of them.

We are not doing the undercarriages below 3mm wire as an average aeromodeller can do it himself very easily to sute his particular  model. The thinner ones dose not require heat treatment if you use a semi hard spring steel wire (or say a Piano wire for more convenience in any local music instrument market.

Presently I am trying to do some range of ARFs for specially for Bignners  & Intermediate aeromodellers & soon will be available on my store (about 20-30 days). The pretty part is that all the Hardware & Accessories are Made In India & with a comparable quality. So one can now get them very fast (like engine mount/fueltank/horns etc) whenever replacement is required.

Presently I have done few models:
1. KAISER MARKII- A High wing trainer For Glow/Electric, wing span about 48"
2. Glider APPLE BOX- Wing span 6' , wings split able in 2 pcs for easy transportation, Good for Glow/Diesel/Electric.
3. GENTLE Jr.- High Wing Trainer, Wing Span 60" for 0.40-46 Glow/Electric
4. Low winger (still to be named)- Wing span 63" for 0.46-55 glow/electric

All are done on laser with Balsa & Plywood.  Soon I will post pics.

The WOT4 is in next batch

MANY THANKS REGARDS TO ALL & HAVE A GREAT SUNDAY :hatsoff:
Vivek

PS: Due to the field work i am not very active online, so I apologize if I could not answer the online correspondence on time.
I & my brother Vishal are availible on phone from 8-8 Monday - Saturday. So if we can be of any help anybody can contact us on the nos. 9414127519 (me) 9829491054 (Vishal)

The pic titled 'undercarriage.jpg' looks awfully familiar

Hi Sanj,
I have been requesting the model shop guys to produce a few essential parts that every beginner can buy off the shelf from them and build a model from freely available resources at a cheap price.
Yes that image is from this site and belongs to one of the member's aircraft which I have uploaded again to show Vivek. The undercarriage in the image from RC india modellor's plane was inspired from Experimental or Flite Test... It would be nice if it was available ready made with quality wire and wheels that are lightweight but strong to take pounding and wheel stops or collets installed.

It would be very similar to the undercarriage kit Hobby King is supplying for BIXLER 2 plane.(This image is there too)

Thank you for informing Sanj...that was a good build log, sorry I did not notice your name or would have remembered. I have noticed you are in Delhi, do you fly at Bhondsi? I am from Delhi too .... Cambridge School..where only seniors were allowed to join Mr Jaiswal's Aeromodelling Club (Control Line ..1970) and I left school by the time I became a senior......

I was flying with Jamal and guys a couple of years ago when I visited them...

You know what.. I just noticed RCD have got the wire structures and complete undercarriages for sale..did you get yours from there?  How did you fit it, please expand...

Please could you also insert the link to the build log as I cannot remember where your build log to that BIPE is..thanks..
Safe landings...
Might see you in December if flying at Bhondsi..

1970 is a long long way back :)

I passed out of school in 1972, Cathedral in Bombay. Moved to Delhi only in 1982, and been all over since 1992.....lived and worked in 5 different countries!

Yes, I used to fly in Bhondsi. But, since moving to electrics, I go to a field just a few minutes from my house - not great for Nitro, positively dangerous for gassers because of people, cricketers, parked trucks et al. Works for electrics though; flown some fairly large ones.

Bit unfair to hijack someone elses thread, so we'll continue the LG discussion on a new thread.

You are of course Deepak Chopra, whose posts I have read frequently in AAG on FB. :D :D

I have been in touch with Aniket and might see him in VASCO at the end of November... Will you be able to meet at the same time or is it too far from you?? Please will you message me your tel number and email as a private message..thanks..

Sanjay, that FT model the one you have built is superb.. Your workshop is very impressive too...it shows you are quite a craftsman and a meticulous builder.... Boats and planes... just sent you a request on FBK....

I have a Raven EPP wing with Jamal....if he has not built it as yet, would you mind building it... I will request him to pass it to you... if you agree that is..
Thanks
