Want COBRA 2204 Brushless Motors Urgently ..  ??? any lhs in india ?

soo there is any cheaper way to get them or any lhs have them ??? i want them urgently

Available from Singapore here (http://www.dronematters.com/cobra-2204-28-2300kv-2-3s-brushless-motor-integrated.html). Shipping is only 10$ by SingPost Airmail. Rotorgeeks (http://rotorgeeks.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=74) has it on pre-order. When I try the estimate shipping feature, it says it is free. You may have to log in and try.

I think you may be the first one on the forum to be using Cobra motors. May I know what your setup is? Depending on it you could also consider the CM2204 1960kv and CM2206 2100kv racing edition.

Singapore post will take time as ages... minimum 1 month.. then it will go to customs.... The cost which got is DHL shipping.. within a week

I recently bought Cobra 2206/20 2100KV RE from DroneMatters.com.
Only few hobby stores have them in stock.

Why do you wanna buy the 2204 when you can get the 2206/20 for a couple of $$ extra, plus the 2206s will run 4S with 6045s?!!!

Even 2204 would run 4S with 6 inch props.

i am just trying to put a point that in India if you have a similar motor then why take risk of buying from outside importing and taking the hassle of customs and all.

@satyagupta: I hear you brother, and I completely agree.

All I happen to point out was, if nite wants cobras for 250/280 size quad, the 2206/20 RE would make more sense simply because for a few extra dollars he would get 200g plus thrust per rotor compared to 2204s. That I believe is highly imperative in FPVing.

That said, since cobras are not available in India at the moment, I guess nite has to stick to SunnySky's.

On 4s, cobra 2204 1960 works fine with 6prop, 2300 kV cobra/sunnysky doesn't , only 5prop on 4s . They all handle 6prop on 3s.
I had cobra 2300kv in my mini last year, but after a lot of damage I decided for new motors but couldn't find cobra in stock, so I got sunnysky from qk, on 3s both have same power, on 4s cobra has 5% more performance. Personally I prefer any reputed 2204 over 1806 or 2206. Balance of agility and toughness .

Cobra motors are just epic one. there is no comparison of them. will buy them definitely but which one 2204 or 2206 ? i think i will go with 2206 as they are more power packed. What will be the estimate For these motors including price+shipping+customs and other things ?

My Setups are as following
- ZMR 250 with using DYS 1806 black addition, cc3d fc, 12 amp esc, 600mw fpv kit  = Want cobra motors for this setup
- Flexy Bee, dYS 1806 2300 kv, naze32 full, emax blheli esc 12 amp, same fpv kit
- QAV 280 from Quadkoters.com (on his way, ordered today specially for Sunnysky motors) - QAV280, SunnySky 2204, naze 32 acro, emax simonk 12 amp etc

2206/20 RE is the way to go my friend!
Just a word of causion: the QC for the cobras are really bad. There have been quiet a few reports on the bearing failure. So it would be a wise thing to order a couple extra.
Btw, if you plan to go for the 2206s with 6045s HQ and 4S, please bear in mind that the motor draws 24 amps at full throttle. So you would be inclined to go for 30A ESCs. (DYS BLHeli or KISS 30A??)
The above setup will definitely toast 12A ESCs to a crisp black!

Once you finalize, the max amp draw will tell you which ESC you can use. Always use an ESC amp rated above your max amp drawn from your motors. This will give enough room for your ESC to breathe.

If you choose 6045 props with 3s lipo, you will need 20A ESCs.
BTW which battery are you gonna build the rig around (80A continuous discharge)?
