Prabhu.. whats the size of your dump truck..? can make actuators by screw jacks, can make from camera film winders.. will take a good loads, up to 1:18 scales.. can also use sliding servos for miniatures.. Thumbs Up

HYDRO PLANER.....

Prabhu.. its the nice scale to work with ordinary servos and plastic gear boxes.. a screw jack is the best option and it also gives you a movement like to the hydraulics.. a powerful cam also do the job nicely.. or a simple push rod, actuated by a standard servo also will be best.. can hide it within chassis.. and can add a ball point pen body as the actuator cylinder.. works nicely.. and with this you can also stop the tray to any desired position, as the control is proportional..  Thumbs Up
