On a Day after heavy Rainfall, I took the initiative and Built a Simple Thermocol Floater , My aim was that the Draft (Sink Depth) be less than 4 mm , so that The Boat could float freely in the shallowest of puddle, I was blessed to see this large water accumulated in the middle of the Stadium , and had a nice ride, joined by a fine young fella .... Weight of entire Boat was about 250gms, and the Thermocol barely floated in 3 mm of water , so it was a success.
The area of floats (Catamaran) was 60cm Length and (7+7)=14 Cm Width.

Sir, I was inspired to post this Video after seeing the Exquisite Rowing mechanism in that boat.

And, I have come to understand that such young kids are able to grasp the RC concepts quite easily and quickly.

  

Nice Build Pankaj. Me and Harish are also testing our Airboats. We have however used Thrust Vectoring for the motor .i: Installed the motor on top of a servo. This simplified the overall steering.

Reminds me of an airboat I had made in 1990 or so.
2'x1' of 2" thermocol, covered woth aluminium foil.
As there was no water body nearby, used to run it on the lawn.
Was surprisingly fast as an airsled.
But then it had an OS 21 FP!
