In post number 61 above, you asked for CW 8520 motor. If you have the CCW motor, use it while reversing the motor leads for CW rotation. These 8520 motor, yes have brushes, but they are not set by factory. I have opened two of these motors and the brushes are Confirmed to be identical. Here where we compete in the E20 (8520 motor, 67 mm prop and 1s Lipo)competition, this is a standard practice and my experience confirms the motor performance.

This tip is ONLY for 8520 or 6 and 7 mm coreless motors.

PS: These motors do not need break in period. Start using it right away and this was confirmed by the manufacturer Chaoli of the powerful 8520-18 motors. In practice, I realize that is true.
