When I connect the motor to the ESC and I pull the throttle stick, the motor spins in one direction, stops at half of the throttle and spins in opposite direction when the throttle is moved up.
Means, motor stops when the throttle stick is at the center, spins in one direction when throttle is pulled down and spins in opposite direction when throttle stick is moved up.
I think it's because this a RC car ESC, that enables the car to move forward and backward as per the throttle direction.
I would like to know if the ESC can be calibrated to work like the ESC an RC airplane. If the throttle is down the motor should stop and motor should gradually speed up as the throttle is moved up to Max.
