THIS IS NOT A MICRO QUAD. THIS COMES IN THE CATEGORY OF MINI QUADS.And there is a huge difference.
This copter is extremely stable and agile.
It is great for acrobatic fliers as it has an amazing thrust to weight ratio.
The motors it uses are really powerful, you can look at the charts here.
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2180080As you can see, it gives about 485 grams of maximum thrust, and the all up weight of the copter as you see it is 400 grams, so, there is around 5~4:1 thrust to weight ratio, which is super.
It is great for beginners as it is extremely stable and a charm to fly.
The chassis is all carbon fiber, therefore it can take a lot of crashes.
All you'd have to change are the propellers.
It has super flight time.On a WolfPack 3S 1500mAh 25C battery, it gives more than 15 minutes of flight time, and the battery is discharged to 3.7v per cell, therefore it can still go a bit more.
Plus I suspect that the battery doesn't have the advertised capacity, therefore it might work better with a better quality battery.
It is great for FPV.With a full fpv setup and a additional Mobius, it weighs around 500~550 gms, so it still has a lot of power to spare.
Don't believe me?
