Hi I have hiller 450 v3 and avionic x5 from rcbazaar
and savox servos

i did a test flight after the FBL conversion and tail starts to wag very little
i had gain as 70%
i tried 75 and 65 but tail wagged in the same way?

What are the specification of your tail servo ?
Which hole from the center you are using on your servo horn? or what is the distance from center ?
Have you confirmed your servo frequency on gyro ?
What setting you have on 3rd pot on gyro ?
Any binding ? limits are correct ? Vibrations ?
Started with rate mode ?
I have installed this gyro this week and still tuning it.

i have savox sh0264 MG on tail
and i mailed savox for the frequency they replied as 200hz and asked me to use below that so i am using 165hz
3rd pot is factory set position(horizontal)
no binding
i started with head lock mode

i have to check the distance and i will post some pics too

I checked the specifications on www.helidirect.com/savox-micro-servo-264mg-p-27594.hdx

It shows 250Hz
And you running it on 1520?
Any slop on tail ?

Many people are suffering due to this servo According to forums. Hard to get it right

there is no 250 on avionic x5 so i am running it on 165
and yes 1520

no slop

and wag is very little

This due to your radio if you are using rcb 7x gyro has noting to do with that use a branded one if you are flying near cell phone tower that is other reason fly far away from cell phone towers

abhay - would you care to explain ?? how is it because because of the radio ?? also cellphone towers affect how ?

Rcb 7x can be a valid reason but tail wag due to Towers :/
7x has some neutral/mid stick issues . But in this case I think its the servo or mechanical gain has to be decreased by using the inner hole of tail servo horn .

8 mm is the distance of the ball from center

i didn't had internet to respond.

i checked the heli and found that tail end travel is less
yet more space was there so i changed the end travel
i didn't fly after that. i have to check,
could that cause the problem?

and after the changes also when i put heli in rate mode the end travel is different ?
