Post by: Ribz on April 29, 2014, 09:02:22 PM
can a quad built on kk 2 can be as stable as gps? hovering at a place?
I need tuning advice even before i'm buying fc's
also which fc can be perfectly stable and requires least tuning efforts?

The Naza M - V2 fits your criteria, but it is expensive.

No KK 2.xx boards do not have the option to attach gps.
Cheapest option would be Naza M Lite 169$ including Gps module.

hi stability and gps position hold are bit different things. you can get stable flight from KK2.x boards but you won't get position hold, however with minor stick inputs you can achieve that easily. gps helps craft to stay in the position in 3d space with some tolerance in horizontal and vertical space. please have a look at my video with kk2.0 fc i got stable flight.

@ Dharmik,

I am in the process of fine tuning a Quad I built over the last 2 weeks. I have tested it indoors and the plan is to fly it this long weekend. Could you share your PI Values?

Here is a link to my build log http://www.rcindia.org/multirotors/build-log/msg181262/#msg181262. (http://www.rcindia.org/multirotors/build-log/msg181262/#msg181262.) I will post more information over the weekend.

Thanks
Shailendra

@rahulvyas are you talking about apm without compass? that doesn't require tuning?
how about the one from quadkopters.com at 5 grand? will that be a plug and play?
i've had the misconception that apm boards are complex stuffs

@ Ribz,

See the attached document on fine tuning I found. I am going to try it this weekend. I hope it works for you.
