I had done parachute drop from my Quadcopter just for fun . Here is video Link

Interesting! How high was the quad at the time of release.The parachute appears to be an umbrella canopy or is it custom made?

yup this is fun! i also was doing this.i was also doing flower petals drop using the same hatch. another interesting one is put the keychain camera as the payload on the para.

Just cut out 2 inch hole in the centre of your chute, will make it more stable and stop the oscillation, in a lighter vein, you don't want people to end up in your father's nursing home do you? :)
