Post by: threeonethree on June 26, 2018, 04:55:28 PM
Hi,

I want a simulator cable quick and it needs to be cheap. I can order it online but that will take days atleast. Can i make one? What cables do i need to buy from the local market to attach a mic port?

Hi,

Cable is the least importat part. The most important is the Dongle with SMD electronics. Which I believe not that easy to diy. Which simulator you are using anyway?

Fpv freeride

If I connect to the mic port then I guess I won't need the electronics

May depend on your simulator. For example Real Flight comes with its own radio called "Interlink elite controller"

Or "Interface Adapter" will enable few radios to connect. See below for compatibility.

So I believe it will take more than just plug in a cable. But I am not an expert though.
