Hello. My futaba 2.4 GHz 7C tx antenna broke at the swivel when the tx accidentally flipped over. I have ordered a new antenna from the US and it should be reaching me shortly. Does anybody have any experience in such replacement, is it a simple plug in replacement or does it need expert attention? Will be grateful for your responses and advice. regards.

As you know Antenna is not just plastic piece it is also the wire. What did break in your case ? Is it plastic piece or wire or both. However most of the radio antennas have pigtail connector for antenna. If that is the case in yours too then the work is just a piece of cake.

Did it break in switched on condition??. if so then its bigger problem. Please do not switch on radio till replacement. First post photo of the breakage. then we can advice you better.

Thanks for the posts. The plastic housing with the swivel(where it is joined and from where we can move its direction) broke, the wire is intact. I did a range check, no problems. Flew my most inexpensive electric model, there was no problem. But the antenna is hanging down limp. It did not break when the set was on. From what is seen in the video, I think, i just need to unscrew the back end, remove the antenna wire from the socket, with a pliers pry out the old plastic housing, put the new thing in and hook it up. Seems too easy but am not too sure. :( :(
