whats the operating range on one of these? I recently purchased a RTF skysurfer which came bundled with an extremely poor range Transmitter that looks exactly like the Flysky CT6B. Feeling cheated. So want to make sure before spending more money.

CT6B is no good. Flysky i6, FLysky I6X are better.
