Do you post some photo please your rejected scratch built coro/Foam and other basic planes.

And some classic biplane too
We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.

rohitgupta322

Kalyan da, looks like you have been gripped by the biplane fever. Have you started building one?

Nice pics, Gusty, and nice collection. I think the one who dies with most toys goes to heaven!!!
I like the pic of the stick with ATC in background. Must say that the 27's have a realistic camo job, matches well with the grass colours pretty well.
And is that an Ouragan/Toofani mounted on the pdestal? Or is that a Gnat?

Gnat it is, back in the 80s had harrowing time flying and landing it in the simulators, this one never had a trainer for long time, pilots went solo direct without being given any trainer trip. The Sabre Slayer

Yes Augustinev, I Love Gnats, The Sabre Slayers, Renamed as Ajeet .

Made by The English as Trainers and they were Used only by IAF as main Combat Craft.

IAF Pilots proved their guts on these planes.

And How can we forget the Legend himself PVC NJS Shakhon.

One was displayed in front of HAL's head quarter in Bangalore, now shifted some where else due to Metro rails construction work.

I Salute to Brave Fighters of IAF. :salute:

Thanks Gusty, in that pic it looks very much like the Toofani, buit I guess the wing tips give away the identity.
If I remember right the IAF's Gnat last flew at your present location, and the decommissioning ceremony was in early 90's.

Great idea! I'll try it.
Will be off line for some time as I have been told to move at practically three days notice. I'll be back online soon.

I thought I would post some smart ass comment about stealing the models or hijacking them while they are en route Shillong etc. etc. However, for once, I am speechless!

Good Question. Gusty, how are you going to pack these babies safely? I am in the same boat.

rcpilotacro

As far as the knick knack carpentry is concerned , i am DIY, giant scale boxes are done, wing bags are done, working on couple of more boxes made out of wood from the banks of Ob, Yenisey or Lena (Really) could be Amur ! who knows. Planer, Jigsaw Cutter, Sander, Nails and Hammer. and of course , Time and i am sorted. I am on the dot as far as PDCs, hopefully will be done before the truck arrives. let me upload some pics this weekend of DIY wing bags and the box.

PS
i had a bad idea last night of putting my giant scale box some wheels and the engine from my Monster truck (Cen MT), so that i can drive the box to the field. Discarded the idea totally, coz the car guys of the forum like Arpit and Rajath will kill me

hi folks,

augustine, nice to see such a great collection of rc planes. but i just wanted to ask you, how do you still maintain interest in RC flying? i mean you fly actual jet fighters... surely that beats everything.

cheers.
