Dji should not be stubborn Kindly liberalise your policies as India is a great market with price sensitive nature so if you guys can Setup a Direct service centre anywhere in India and try to help startups in here you should also deal with the government for cleaner rules for consumer grade uavs ! This is the only way to keep distance from your rivals as you may think with the legendary phantom and newborn inspire you will always lead without abstractions  but competition is intensifying !!

chintal

They are not interested nor can their dealers repair inspire 1 if crashed or bricked  , I had a word with Jash a month back for opening a service centre + becoming a dealer , terms were unsupportive and biased to their stubborn dealers but they still such support such personalities

Dji is ruthless towards Indian customers... I had once seen in some blog where they had clearly mentioned that they are not interested in the Indian market primarily because the market is small and unregulated laws.

Anyway, DJI has been known for poor customer service and stubborn attitude.

You can buy DJI products here in India from LHS, but forget about service or support. The only support that you will get is through various blogs.. but no physical support. DJI will ask you to return the product to their service center at your cost, which may not be even worth the price of the product (taking into consideration the freight insurance cost and reimport duties)
Cheers !!!

Chintal you are absolutely correct , Once I had talked with those sphere hobbies people they spoke as if they don't want to sell anything !! Is this how they deal if that is so they will face the same Aberration  as of The telecom Giant Nokia thought we cannot compare DJi to nokia as Nokia was Huge and even had a great support in the indian market but the only thing comparable is their stubborn attitude which led to its demise !I am not saying that dji is a bad company either  but the attitude to a growing market and some of their ill mannered so called authorised dealers I think 3DR solo will knock off And make a dent into dji's attitude as well as sales figure !!!!

chintal

People are already fed up of unrepairable crashes either dji has to come up with something better at services or
People will move over to BETTER crafts
1)2 lash rs copter lying at a dealer since one month for repairs get repaired at a lhs in a weeks time
2) a2 flight controller yaw issue is not fixed yet

3)dji pilot app failsafe resets to zero

4)dji phantom 2 batteries show up as not dji batteries after a software update

You need to hear what the people have to say
If you only listen to what the dealer sells you will not be able to capture Indian market

People are already asking for a better alternative after crashes
If they get align or 3dr they won't look back at dji anymore
