Title: CATIA - RC Plane models
Post by: santhosh-r on June 29, 2013, 10:01:48 PM
Hi friends,
Anybody have tried using CATIA to calculate the developed / unfolded dimensions of a plane made of Coro?
I have tried and successfully made a wing in CATIA and made the developed view...

I don't think the unfolded views are generated by AUTOCAD...these are more advanced features , may be available in AUTODESK INVENTOR

Inventor has far less features in contrast with AutoCAD and besides, it's only for 3D drawings.
I've seen a few options in AutoCAD that allow 2D drawings to be developed into 3D, i'm sure it does it the other way round too.
