I'm getting 300m on my 200mw setup, is there a magic placement style which minimises signal interference(both radio tx rx and Vtx Vrx are 2.4GHz)

what would be the best upgrade to get 1km+ range? 600mW?

Also the Ez uhf claims to give 20-80km range? are they out of the box? I saw a flighttest video of their signal loss after a few miles.

You are using a Filter ON video tx right? ?? If not using then you should

are you flying a plane or a multirotor???

Generaly you only need GOOD antenna ON both sides to get a decent range out of your tx ....

In multirotor you should place your vtx and radio rx as far from each other as possible ...with Filter ON vtx .... use cloverleaf for better performance ....

You CAN increase power of tx but make sure to use GOOD antenna ON them

OoooopsSss

Very wrong suggestion I gave you

You should never use same frequency for video transmitter and radio .....
You should change either video tx or your radio to a different frequency

Sorry about erlier post

@rcnitesh: your post is in the wrong thread.

@roby: You cannot have your FPV gear and your radio running on the same bandwidth. PERIOD!
Power-age on your Vtx doesn't mean much. You can easily get 1km range on an average 25mW Vtx if set up properly with circular polarized Ariels.

buddy, satya ji is the best seller around here, drop him a mail at webmaster@quadkopters.com and he will solve your issue.
looks like there is some serious fpv problem,
check this out, maybe you can fix it yourself too
 http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2478206
(if its on a 250,dont forget to use toroid filters)

I'm not in a condition to give you any great advice as i'm struggling with my own setup, but theres no way but an upgrade i guess, 2.4GHz on both VTx and Tx Rx
