today while i was out roaming in panjim, i hit the jackpot ( i think). i was floating around, when i saw a shop called "artorium" i like to paint, so i went to check it out... while checking out the canvases, a stack of thermocol caught my eye... it was FOAM!!! ;D ;D the only place i ever found it in goa! :o they have it in 2mm, 5mm, and 10mm. all sheets are cut to 18" x 36", but on request, he can source larger uncut sheets... he mainly imports them from Pune. This is their address: Adarsh Building, Opp. Osia Jewellers, Near Hotel Palacio De Goa, St Inez, Panaji, Goa - 403 001 i don't know if it is laminated or not, since i have never seen depron before, except in some small sample's that a friend sent me (he didn't specify either) PS: mods i know that their is another thread on Depron in Goa, but i made another one, so people can know that a source has been found. i am from pune and know sources in pune very well. depron is what the US guys call it. here we call in biofoam. its same as the white party dishes available. only good thing is that its available in sheet form and various thickness. The foam board i saw used by some bangalore students was biofoam covered with paper on both sides. it looked very stiff and was also slightly heavy. will try to source it in pune. regds Title: Re: Depron/Foam board FOUND in GOA!
