Sorry guys, I couldn't reply sooner as I had my exams going on.. Thanks for your quick replies..
@manojswizera Glad to know that!
1. Will get Prop-savers
2. I am buying props from hobbyking.com. From where do you get your APC props from?
3. CG is Correct (it is about 5 inches from the front)
I am still searching for an experienced flyer. Also, I am thinking of making a multi rotor (as it might be easy to fly and difficult to break props)
@allthatido
I am located in NSIT Dwarka Sector 3 (most of the time)/ or for the holidays at Krishna Nagar (East Delhi)
@v2 eagle
For the 19" Nutball the CG was at around 5-6" from the front of the plane.
I broke first 2 props flying in small places( first a basement parking lot second an indoor badminton court) because i saw videos of people flying a nutball easily in small places on YouTube.
Second thing I realized was I had chosen the wrong props those were 8060 props. The 6" pitch causes lot of instability. Which I initially felt and then later read
about it. (By then I had broken all of those props, around 6 of them) The 8043 I used next were much easier to control.
Another thing I learnt was I did not balance any of the props and/or use prop savers. (which should be a must for beginners) Could not place an international order just for a prop saver, so was trying my best to fly well!
And till now I have not been able to make a nice landing gear (Would be ordering that too now). So the hand launch technique also added to some unstable control for a beginner like me.
Where do you guys get your stuff from?? There are no such hobby part manufacturers in India?
Will post the pics soon..
