namaskara guru...  Grin... and welcome to the world of helis... and good hovering and practice on the sim as much as possible... at least you took off the ground.. ti took me almost 4 months to get my heli off the ground... and i dont know if am wrong or right... the tracking seems to be a bit off... in one of the shots i think i saw the blades can be tracked a bit more (or maybe its the quality of the video)...
do hovers, piros and nose in's... and then one day bang get into idle 1 or 2 and get your heli inverted...

RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

Looks great !  And even happier to see the chain of helping one another extending, as the newcomers are getting more experienced Thumbs Up

Can you quantify the effort that has gone into this so far, so that other beginners who are planning to get into a heli like the HK450 can get a feel for the effort involved ?

1.  Have you been flying planes before ?  For how long ?

2.  How many hours on the sim, before you got to the level your on THIS video ?

3.  What number is this flight ?  3rd ? 5th ? 10th ?

@sujju ji thankyou and yes you are right blades are bit off track because FS has bent slightly and i tried lot for tracking after that i came to know FS has bent! Bang Head ordered new ones ,on the way
i am planning to buy sim !

@anwar bhai

as you see this is plastic version and plastic's in this kit  are useless ,but great for beginners to build or to fly n crash
and where ever screws were slipping on end tight i used 5 min epoxy! For building please refer videos on helifreak and youtube it helps a lot!
and i would quantify 2/5 because of bad quality,2 still because  you can hover!
i advised beginner to go with MT version

1. ya im flying electric planes from past 4 yrs and glow from 1 1/2 yr.

2.exactly no sim experience ,but im planning to buy sim now as advised by Vinay, but i dont recommend beginners without sim.

3.this was 3 rd flight

but im from aviation background worked with heli's almost year.

any way thanks for your advise and guidence  Bow

Thanks & Regards

Nice Flying man, Sorry I could not come to jakkur and may not be able to come for few more weeks, and anyway its windy. BTW are those the same Ebay wodden blades I gave you? Looks like they are not tracking badly.  Also How are you making sure that the HS is not going beyond 2400?

BTW, I have some cheapo EBAY feathering shafts you can take from me, I anyways dont use them as Iam a fan of High Head speed.

BTW the tracking problems may not be due to bent FS unless you verify that by rolling on the glass. It may be due to bad blades/dampers/bent grips as well.

SInce your first crash was on a 2218, 13 T, CF blades. I think that would have screwed up the dampers/grips as well.

hi Vinay ,and i landed sunday evening from Indore and thought of giving shot to heli with some rough calculation and it worked really well with your wooden blades, only little bit out of tracking ! took long time to conclude that FS has bent bit ! any how went to field n tried ! hey i also need main shaft which is also slightly bent from box it self !
Any how thanks for your wooden blades and solid words saying"hey you can do it very easily" Bow Bow
