It all started from something small

Phew ! After 7 continuous hours of self-brainstorming and moments of EUREKA! turned to 'What the hell was I thinking' !
This is the product.

presenting to you custom made Quad Retracts.
Used Metal Geared Servo (4) and other basic stuff combined with my brain Tongue XD

Enjoy.

And yes, they work fine, the feet take good amount of load , tried bumping it too , no issues Smiley

@parichya , I think we have discussed about thrust calculation of Multirotors on gtalk once
you cannot add up the max. thrust of each motor to calculate your AUW -for the thrust of each motor is 1.1Kg you cant fly a quad with AUW of 4.4 Kg - with these motors your AUW must be around 2.2Kg so that you can hover at Half throttle.

see all i know is that using the previous motors My quad lifted off at approx 65% throttle, with the new ones ( and the new 5000mAh LiPo it lift at approx 35%

Updated them a bit.
 Basic mechanism remains the same.
But modified the main legs and included stoppers to take impacts, along with longer and modified legs that allow landing even with the legs retracted Smiley

It all started from something small
it can be done with one servo, the requisites are that it should be a powerful one ( around 12KG/cm Stall Torque ) and movement> 60'
I had initially planned that, but thought that ill start from the basic 4-servo model , and later ( when in have the money to buy stuff ) make the one servo model.
