It all started from something small

As known, broke my mounts in my last crash Cry

So as other members said that mounting the motor directly to the frame with zip-ties is fine. I tried doing that.

new motor and LiPo recently bought from a fellow member here.

See attached pics and let me know if it 's fine so I can mount the other 3 too the same way.

set acc_hardware = 1

I haven't tried this before but I guess it should work. Maybe a bit of foam between the motor and the boom would help to dampen vibrations. I wanted to mention that this a great coincidence. Soon after your motor mount broke, quadkopters started stocking spare mounts: http://www.quadkopters.com/product/rtf-kit-and-frames/x525-spare-motor-mounts-4pcs/ Soon after quadkopters started stocking spare 450 arms, one of my quad arms broke  Bang Head

Use some doubleside tape b/w motor and Al. boom , Also just 2 strong Zip ties will be enough - see the last posts here : www.rcindia.org/multirotors/custom-fpv-quadcopter-build/

That helps remove any kind of vibrations - and yes also it is like a cushion - makes the motors tight fit Smiley
