Hi Dharmik, I am new to RC. Used to fly cessna's and then some paragliding. Just looking to get to FPV as a means to get back into the sky. Not sure anyone cam learn much from my build notes.
I built the first one (posthumously named the "Titanic") and lost it when it flew out of radio range. It was built with 1 inch aluminium U section for arms (8 inch long) and anchored with 3bolts to a single center plate 8 inch dia and made of 6mm plywood. 2822 motors, 8inch props, turnigy ss18 esc. Hk 2.1 control board. Found it easier to fly it than to hover it. Had to crash land it every time
The second one "Queen Mary" has been built (with a Naza FC) and am building a third with provision for FPV. This time built with square aluminium sections and 6mm plywood sandwiching the arms. Using DT700 from HK and turnigy plush 25A.
Its a bit windy here in Bangalore and am waiting for "ideal" conditions to fly "Queen Mary". Will post pictures IF and when I can get it to hover.
