Sorry I missed Avesh's post earlier. Antenna wire posted by avesh will work.

If you have a ufl connector Receiver, just plug it in. If it has to be soldered to receiver, cut of ufl connector, expose an mm of central wire and separate the shield of the coax wire in two bunches with a separation of half an mm of insulation intact between them and solder the central wire to the antenna output and shield to the ground.

The patch at the tip will work as such. However if you are not comfortable in placement. just expose 2.5 cms of central wire of the coax at the antenna tip with insulation intact. You can cut of the separated shield wire of the coax altogether or leave it cut for a length of 2.5 cms exposed as a dipole antenna with an angle of 90-130 degrees between them in their placement. Do not remove the insulation of central wire in the antenna tip which will protect it from wear and weather. add a heat shrink of 2mm on the separated shield wire of 2.5 cms when used as dipole to protect it also from wear and weather.
