because low value parcels have a slight chance of avoiding customs.... i'd rather pay a fixed amount for shipping, rather than paying customs for no reason....

Is Hobby king OK to order from i mean is it reliable and genuine and where is it located ? how much time does it take through normal and express courier service

And how much much amount of order is OK on which the customs are not applicable?

Yes it is the cheapest and the best hobby store out there. They shipping may take 11days to 30days.
To me it took 13days.
I think its 5000, after which customs are charged. But dont worry about the customs so much. Smiley

Why does my tracking info shows that it has gone in to Kolkata's custom department?? There is a custom department in Delhi(where I live)!  Head Scratching

Actually i have ordered many stuffs from hobbyking, Now i am just a gold member and prices of many items are higher than that when i am not logged in...
Ex: hobbyking 30A esc shows 8.99$ and when signed in its showing 9.99$

Arun, i think the increament in price is due to the warehouse difference... I myself faced the same problem while ordering the EPP dragonfly. later i found that the australian warehouse had much higher price than hongkong one..

Abhay not really... What i do now is added the stuufs in to cart befor logging in and proceed then logged in afterwards now the price is 8.99$ But when i check after logging in it is 9.99$..

@ satya its the same hk 30a esc..
And I chatted with hk they was telling simple reasons for that like the price differ day by day and soon on.. anyway what I done was I added them into cart and then logged in now its 8.99$ only but if I try to add one more it is updated to 9.99$...

I lost 4$ for my previous order... I thought the price was increased while ordering... Sad
Everyone check the price before and after login and make sure its correct before placing any order...
