RC Plane Designer / Test Pilot @ Team Vortex-RC

My first reply on this here.
Ever since FlyRC started, i had also noted a gross resemblance between their products and with PayLessFlyMore . I had been trying to look on their blog to see if they had some information on it, but nothing anywhere. I drew my own conclusions, and left it like that. However i feel that though FlyRC is doing a great job making available the ARFs, they are doing a little too much of publicity on the forum. I mean several threads all the time in the recent posts all about the same thing isnt too good to see. Now that we all know the deals, and the blog site, lets not push things so much.

I took the liberty of sharing my thoughts just because this is an open forum, and felt i could share my 2 cents here.

RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

Not sure about the "too much publicity on the forum" part any more.  Initially, yes.  Multiple "For Sale" threads.  But once the blog was established, it is just this thread, and couple of "Deal" threads which makes sense.   The rest of the threads that mention Fly RC are from people who bought stuff, and will grow into build threads (hopefully).

Overall, as long as the customers ("us"!) benefit, we will stand behind any and all LHSes.

About the resemblence, I was wondering whatever happened to Bombay RC ? They do not even have a domain name now !

I really don't understand, why people are trying to become detectives ?? If you are getting excellent quality product at such cheap rates shipped to your doorstep, what is your problem. Why are some people unhappy with this wonderful service?Huh? I have personally received my lancair 360 mk2 and it is of excellent quality. Some time back people were complaining about paper being added to the packages for protection, Up till now, i don't think any one has received a damaged product, the technique seems to be working just fine. Others have been complaining about excessive publicity, I really don't think any extra publicity has been done, making people aware of the good offers is not wrong, is it??? more over after threads of people receiving their models from FLYRC started surfacing, I have noticed the same thing being done  by the rcdhamaka people, the new thread of the construction of the McDonald Douglas DC3 is a proof of this.If you see, the member who has posted the build thread has registered an account on this forum yesterday and is just a few posts old. Getting good quality products at a fair price is the right of every individual, but I personally think that some people are trying to create problems for this up coming LHS. In my opinion this is wrong. The proof of the quality of service being provided by flyrc are the various satisfied customers. We all understand where this is going, but as long as we continue to get products at fair prices, we don't care who and where they are coming from! I would suggest people doing research on FLYRC to start focusing their energy on aeromodelling and order from FLYRC and enjoy the Hobby. Thank you FLYRC for bringing such wonderful products at such affordable rates for hobbyists like ME!

RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

Competition is good... end of story Wink

Part of the reason for people to become wary is that someone come out of the blue with higher end stuff, yet without what seems to be a proper setup.  The second part is that prices are very good, and "very sweet deals does raise eyebrows".  I guess I just made a compliment with that statement Smiley  Note that EVERYONE (including people who felt this is "too good to be true" in some sense) has appreciated what Fly RC is doing. I am sure Praveen himself can understand the reservations of anyone who has seen how this hobby has come along for many years in this country.

Nothing really, except may be "full disclosure" expected out of a store (not from an individual).

While I see where you are coming from, it would have been simpler and sweeter to just say "I categorically confirm that I have no relationship to other stores or their old stock" Smiley

Not alienating potential buyers is good for business, even though these people raised eyebrows they also showed appreciation in general towards what you are doing Wink

I hope you take my words in the right spirit, not as unsolicited advise !

i dont have to prove anything to anyone  ,,,my buyers who have received my models say it all let anyone come ffw and say he has got old damaged models ,,,,,my clients post say it all kindly check the forum for reviews and built of models supplied by me ,,,also iam getting gws /esm/multiplex etc to India ...let them happily investigate  and comment that iam selling old stock from other lhs selling similar brand... ... models iam selling is not monopolized to specific lhs..

Right said praveen sir u dont have to prove anything to anyone. ur products say it all but I hope this useless debate will end if u simply say u have no relation with paylessflymore or any other lhs. even if u were somehow connected to some lhs then everyone should be happy that they are getting what they want at lower price. Thx

If i was working with payless wouldn't they have lowered their prices too ...its not that payless has closed down they are very much in business...and who is a fool to give me their stock and also make me sell them in half the price they are selling  ,,,isnt it a logic for everyone to think .
The funniest part is the guys who have dedicated their valuable time  to investigate hasn't even bought a single model from me i dont know how they concluded it to be old stock, whereas all my costumers have given me 5star rating .nevertheless we all should appreciate the soon to be private investigators  telekinetic expertise   Bow Bow

Praveen,

nobody said you are not sending models/or giving damaged models, has anybody said that why are you feeling guilty. Everybody appreciates more LHS's, we the customers always feel more the merrier as this leads competition, leading to more choice, better prices, etc.,
But you neither deny any relationship nor accept this why it is intriguing,

I have asked you for some models the other day but you sent me a pm with totally different models which led me to checking the other site.

Can you let me know if SR22 can you bring it for me this is ESM kit looking forward to it. Also looking for the Edge Unlimited - Code FCA-AEG261P and prices please.

I agree with what anwar has said.

Also as you know and said that there are alot who need pesticide in this forum, can you please name the others apart from the three that you already named.

As a comparison you are not selling it at half their price.
