Hi
I bought 1 inch thickness Styrofoam from market.  I need to cut it into half inch thickness.  So, suggest me anyone who cuts my Styrofoam horizontally with half inch thickness.  please share contact number and address

You can cut it yourself. Hammer two nails on a flat surface and tie a thin steel or nichrome wire half an inch above the surface. Heat the wire by passing a low voltage current and slide the sheet below the wire. You should end up with a half inch thick sheet.

It depends on length and thickness of the wire. For say 2feet cutting length with a 28 swg or 24 swg wire will be good at 18-22volts @ 1.5+ amps (get yourself a low cost variable psu 30v/3amps)

If you have a hot wire foam cutting bow like this:

You can slice the thermocol like this:

But you'll need a helper like RC Aunt!

Much easier and simpler to just buy a thinner sheet from the stationery shop!
