Built my second plane ever after my Spitfire crashed and I needed some parts to repair it.
Picked to build the Slinger since it's just too awesome a design (again, thanks a ton flitetest.com for the awesome design)
Here is what went into it.
Specs:
Construction - Dollar Tree FoamBoard (40" Wingspan)
Original Motor - Aerodrive SK3 2822 1740kv (got burnt during testing for no reason at all)
Current Motor - NTM Propdrive 2826 1200kv (scavanged from my downed FT Spitfire)
Servos - Hextronik HXT900 9gm
ESC - Turnigy Plush 25 AMP ESC
Propeller - APC Style 8x4E Prop
Battery - Turnigy 2200mAh 3S 25C
Receiver - FrSky X8R
Transmitter - FrSky Taranis Plus
Weight - 450gm w/o Battery
Extras:
Paint - Regular Spray Paint
And then painting it..
Great builds. Best wishes for a successful maiden.

i prefer to use color tape rather than paint it
tough to fly due to low wing and takes quick turns in fraction of sec
