Title: Trouble binding RCB6i transmitter and receiver
Post by: pankajlal on January 14, 2016, 09:52:50 PM
We are new to RCs. Bought RCB6i transmitter and receiver. We are looking to bind these. Followed instructions in this video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tI1o3xGf2PI

We are not either able to bind, or don't know if it has been already bound. Following is what happens.

We are able to get to the dotted line going from left to right on the bind option on the transmitter.
1. Power up the ESC
2. Press the bind button
3. Connect the ESC to channel 3 (black wire goes into -ve and white into signal).

As we connect, the red led goes on for a little while and then goes off. After that sometimes it either stays off, or keeps a pulse of red and off with a frequency of a second.

What does this mean ? Where am I going wrong.

Thanks Partha for your reply. Just to understand this thing a bit more.

1. What does a continuous pulsed blinking on the receiver indicate. Is there some guide to codes for receiver blinking.
2. How do we really know between just the transmitter and receiver that they are paired. Is there some indication on transmitter. I see that the dotted line keeps going left to right, which to me means it is sending the pairing code. Shouldn't this have changed to some other status.

you are welcome ....the indication from the rx led is best understood with rcb6i pdf manual....so get it from rcb page.....and the tx's job is only to send codes.....blinking indicated .....not to check whether the broadcasted code is accepted by any rx.....can only be checked the next time the tx is turned on followed by the rx.....and the channels should respond.....and the alphabetical model remembrance code on tx screen is seen .....

Tell us the problem elaborately, only then can we help. Don't be desperate, binding is a very easy process.

Initially i have bind both and works well. But after some days i have done stick and voltage and id calibration by seeing video on youtube after that binding breaks, then i follow again same  binding procedure but binding not done. I tried calibration serval time by using different power sources for rx
1.from esc
2.dc power supply
I also tried by keeping tx at some distance.if it is problem of id some other Please help me  :
???
Thank u for previous reply  :help:

What voltage was the dc source? If it's not at correct voltage, it could damage the rx.
