If you want to try RC drifting at 1:10 scale, then a good place to start is the MST RMX 2.5 RTR with a pre-painted body. I chose the version with the Toyota GR86RB body that replicates the real PANDEM Rocket Bunny wide body car. The chassis is pre-assembled and set-up in the factory. There are brushed and brushless motor variants. I chose the brushless version. The body set comes with a selection of detail parts that need to be fitted to the body. The body also needs to be mounted, either using the provided body posts or with optional magnetic mounts (my chosen method).
MST describes this product as an "entry-level and professional drift car". Therefore, having never tried drifting before I was intrigued how it would perform. In the first video below, I introduce the product and show it in close-up detail. I show everything you need to do to get the body completed and the car up and running. Then in the second video, I install the battery, power-up the car and show it in action so a new user can see how it will perform.
