I dont know about planes but TTR has produced some of the beast and durable trucks like TTR ST-1 which has been used in most racing competitions as a Pro-truck, Sparrow X(T/B/XT) which is again a bashers 10th scale Stadium truck , and has been seriously appericiated on many forums.

Yes, ST-1 and the EB4 S3 are TT's best race cars. Both raced in the ROAR races by Team Associated racers. But now they are a generation behind. The new age buggies and truggies have overtaken them. So makes sense for them to sell in RTR version only.

ST-1 in particular rocks, reason that I didnt want to let it go and converted to electric.

But helis and aircraft are a different game. They are king in Helis.

Absolutely not ! They would hardly make the top 5.  Like you said about cars, they are a generation behind, and are just now releasing new models to catch up.  They had a name earlier, but others have now zoomed past them.

In India, i guess Thunder Tiger has the best Price Point as far as cars are concerned. It can really be a great offering for college students and people just starting with the hobby. But i personally feel they are way away from pro level.
Specs wise they cannot be considered amongst the top brands. Then again we do not have a lot of brands locally available out here.
Price Wise TT would score 100/100
But QualityWise would score 40/100

Price will naturally be low when quality is low.
IMHO always better to buy a quality product and enjoy it hassle free by paying  a little more extra.

It is all relative... if the yardstick is "value for money", the ranking of TT goes up several notches.

TT is good for entry level.. When you need a consistent performer then you need to switch brands.. That's my personal exp..

i personally think that TT can be very upto PRO-competition brand with a lil modds, like some new gears on the entry levels , or some new shims(thinner), out-cups, adjustable steering knuckles, aluminum shocks, digi servos,

For all this you can might as well pick up a better brand.. Plastics on TT is not that great..

Till about 4 months ago nothing could beat TT when it came to value for Money. But now with HPI, Hot Bodies and Traxxas prices coming down drastically TT cars dont stand a chance except for the Tomahawk range.

We sell a lot of TT cars, the failure rate for servos, radios, recievers, etc is still quite high but its getting better.

@arpit: whats the point of buying a TT and upgrading when u can get another better car for the same amount.

Dear Sid, the point is that initially if u dont want to spend a lot you can go for a TT and then manage up your funds and upgrade them up later on..!

I had been to forum yday so dropped into ModelArt. Had a good look at the sparrowhawk xxt and found all the parts to be delicate - based on looks only. Can all those plastic parts stand up to abuse??
The guy said motor upgrades are available - anyone tried this?
Can someone tell me if spares are available easily in blore ModelArt? Want to know only about the Blore store.

bnglr store has a lot many things compared to delhi one.
Arpit had a sparrow xt, all spares were bought from rotor, since they were easily availbale and cheap.

Sparrowhawk is sturdy enough since its not somethign very powerful or fast, so can do with that quality easily.
No need for motor upgrades, just change teh esc to a 3s lipo capable one.
