interesting thing...but sudden thrust may break away certain part or R/C model.............controlled thrust if possible in this can be used to launch the craft.

I think the 'Rail Gun' as described in the book "Concepts of Physics by Resnick - Halliday" was much different where it was meant for accelerating projectiles to almost speed of light (Super-Hypersonic) - Like the one showed in movie Transformer part II (around the end).
