Hello everybody,

I have succeeded in making an actuator in indian style!

Please watch it, may be useful to somebody!

Yeah yeah, it's only an experiment, it has only on and off, no gradual control.

Thankyou for your complement!

You can get proportional movement by PWM driving of the coils. You need to have some sort of springy centering mechanism also. This technique was used by micro fliers since there were no servos available in the sub gram category those days. We had a few local fliers doing this stuff too. At those sizes the hinge itself used to double up as centering spring.
