I'm going to make an RC Park Flyer Plane (well more of a Trainer but can perform simple acrobatics).
So I made the design out of basswood.
I'd like to agree that I've very little knowledge on electronics required. Although I've searched the net and understood quite enough.
Please suggest me a good motor (with thrust around 1200-1400 gm) and am using a 30Amps ESC by Turnigy. (~30gm)
Also the weight of the motor shouldn't go over 70gm as I'm planning to keep the electronics weight below 200gm.
I'm using five 5gm servos (~ 28gm). It's a V-tail Plane with a fuselage of 5cmx5cmx15cm, and wing span of around 100cm with chord of 13cm.
Total length of plane is around 70cm.
What are all the formulas required for proper motor and battery selection.
Total Weight of Plane is: 2100gm (w/o elec.)
Please help me suggest some low weight electronics and the formula attached with it too.

Around 900KV motor with 10 x 5E Prop with 30A Esc can produce a Approx 1200g Thrust.

Well, it actually consists of a gas-spraycan which increases the weight.
I was hoping that in mid-air, I'll trigger the can and it'll spray rainbow colors.
If that's removed, ig the overall weight would be around 700gms to 900gms.

How do i select a 900kV motor?

This thing is giving some serious thrust. But ig the motor is for Quads. But does it matter if I use that in a Plane?
I want the weight to be really low and max efficiency.
Any formula or Equation that would help me decide the battery and motor would be perfect.

Dear Dhruv, A V-tail is more difficult to control in Yaw, i think for a beginner a conventional T-Type tail would be better, and also your requirement of 2100 gms with a Wingspan of 100cm and 13cm chord would make a very fast plane. A 5gm servo may be too small to operate the necessary control surfaces.

You are better off with a V-tail and heavier servos.
I have had 9 gm servos fail on 1500 gram planes.
Those 5 gram servos wont stand a chance on the 2100 gram plane.
I remember one fellow, who came to ardupilot discuss.....
He wanted all the autonomous capabilities of arducopter and was reluctant to use Rx.Tx.
He was just asking for ONE takeoff !
