Hi,
With Coro, I think the plane become most crash resistant. So I decided with go with coro.
But I found the weight is the difficulty for light weight electrics than foamy.
The main difficulty is
1. Finding 2mm Coro. I got only 3mm Coro.
2. Making 2 layer coro wing makes heavy.
So, decided to test single coro wing. But as specified in SPAD to the boon site, the flutes are parallel to fuselage. But to get advantage of structural reinforcement, I decided to go with cross flute i. e. flutes are parallel to wing.
Now, making dihedral become challenge to me. Again cuta flute and glued with CA (Of course sanding necessary while fixing Coro with CA), guided by coro envelope and using Sparr made with Ice-cream stick. Suddenly, the Guide fixed with the wing and I left that wing with Cessna.
Now, thinking of the most complex wing design of corsair.
Afterall, I take this a R & D Experiment.
So, take 40" wingspan and made the drawing. 1/3 rd line and then halfed and again halved for smooth curve. Cuts upper half of flute to overlap and bond. Please note that I have cut the inner side flutes.
Now, at first, fixed the Sparr to make equal curve. Then make curve join with Scotch Tape(3M) in outer side of the bends and joined inner side with CA initially and then with Bond-Tite 1 minute Epoxy. (TimeSaver).
Now, found an Gap during cutting (Of course wrong cutting, my fault, blade gone offset with as Scale aligned to wrong one) and have to fill up the gap. So inserted a small coro piece and filled with epoxy. Then, just left for drying.
Afterwards, It need reinforcement of bamboo skewer and aileron adjustment.
The first wing design steps are here.

Will post next steps. afterwards. for this corsair.
Thanks
More photo.
And more.
But sorry, as I cannot take photo better as one hand take snaps and other hand only hold the structure.
Both wing side by side.
First and second one.
Please comment even if you think silly. Your remarks will improve my skills and thinking. Knowingly or unknowingly.
The curvature are need to adjust at one bend, and thought to be fixed while reinforcement will be inserted.
Thanks
Interesting looking wing. Good job!
Kalyan..cool idea..and nice wings.. :hatsoff:
Superb design Kalyan Da. Get it ready before the sp4mm3r.
Great job indeed.
