Hi, can you please post an actual pic of the product by placing a 12" scale by the side to judge the actual size of the product.

Nice , Thanks
@ Sandeep Sir
The video by VC Sir might suffice your curiosity I guess.
Aditya
Looks like lathe is not everyone's cuppa tea
Especially when Adiboy is charged by Customs " heavily " and others are not !!!
I dont think adi charged much for this.. if any LHS stocks this the price will be more than this for sure..
And as far as Aditya is one of the best seller ever i saw.. :hatsoff:
Actually for a buyer, it depends what he is going to use it for. It's a lot of money to spend on a "toy" that just lies around
I mean if it could cut threads, do a 1 mm cut in steel, it would be good, but then would have a 2 HP motor and cost a lakh
I've bought, under delivery, and wondering why I did it :)
I agree to Sanjay raj.... but still i feel if LHS keep a bit low margins the quantity can play a role..... I restrict myself from paying additional to LHS when compared to HK directly. its just the time part which we loose if we order directly to HK.
Sanjay boss as discussed i finally bought the die cast grinder ( so called Dremel tool) with the chain (as flexi shaft is called locally) 1150/- but looks worth .... where do i get the extra bits from???
Sanjay boss what have you bought ---- the lathe machine ??? i think it would be good for making teflon/plastic/ nylon parts for plane.
Saurabh: There is a whole variety of Dremel (clone) bits on aliexpress.com. There is a small selection on e-bay
I got the 'lathe machine' but my primary use (at this point) will be as a sander, and a jig saw for small parts. Anything else is a bonus
I always prefer to buy from LHS even if it costs me a little extra. We need to support our LHS, looking at the bigger picture it is they who come to our rescue when we need something urgently.
Sanjay sir a lathe wow.. So i may need your help to make some parts with steel.. :P :P
I don't think it can cut anything in steel ;D
Go to a neighbourhood workshop for that. A 140 W motor? What do you expect!
Sir couple of hinges for my ornithopter and a wing hand.. I finished the design in solidwork now need a Lathe to do that.. I can use a lathe aswell ...Just need that machine in hand.. ;D ;D

@Arun
I missed your comment. Thanks a lot for compliments.
And I, to be clear on my part was charged hell of customs for this 'TOY' and so am helpless about the price.
I have registered a complaint to the Customs department Mumbai for the same with necessary documents and to my surprise they even called me to confirm the receipt of the same. They did not promise refund (obviously they will not) but I will get a genuine reply for the same.
Hope I can serve you all in a much more better manner.
HK 6 in 1 Lathe Machine

People who have dealt with me might be aware of the fact and will back me up for the same.
We all Know, adi you are genuine seller.
But as Asinghatiya said ,and i fell too ,saurabh doesn't means that...
Asinghatiya +1. Whatever little interaction I've had with Rastsaurabh on this forum, he has always proved to be a gentleman. I am sure, we are reading his post in a manner that he didn't intend us to.
Advice taken....!! :salute:
I took it slightly personally... My apologies.

Hello Adiboy,
kindly let me know availability of the item.
I am in search of a small lathe for metal working in brass & copper. i already have a 7X10 old hero lathe & SEIG vertical mill in my works, but a smaller one would be just ideal for my hobby.
is this lathe/mill capable of turning brass & copper stock? Also does it use standard cutting tools & end-mills.
Regards
