Could you tell us the size of the floor tiles Appear to be 2ft x2 ft. Most of your pix are against that background and it would give an idea of the size.

I have a couple of kites like these- always carry them in the carto the field- something to fly if the model is not airworthy or it is too windy to fly. great fun.

I use a nylon/polyester braided  fishing line. Costed me Rs. 40 for around 300-400 metres (2 latai ful- i don't know the English word for latai). I use a connector for fishing lines, so it takes 10 seconds to change kites.
These kites are great. The roll up into a small bundle and since they are nylon, they aren't fragile
