yup fishing line is one, here are some types recommend by wiki not sure if all of them are available in India

Types of kite line materials:-

Cotton
Dacron
Dyneema
Hemp
Kevlar
Linen
Manja or Manjha (would not recommed using this unless you are wearing protective gear on your fingers)
Nylon
Polyester
Rayon
Silk
Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene

Polyester string can be here I think as this can take much load than other and too much flexible too. The string shown in the picture can take 30-50 KG of weight, believe me.

And costs Rs. 8/- per Guli (Small as in Picture) and Rs.12/- for Big.

The kites needs strong line(string) as they are big.

yes, u can check its strength by pilling up the Gas Cyinder Cap string. It is the same string what kalyan sir is saying..

Each one of them has it's own / unique way of flying...I just can't compare the amount of fun you have as these are all so stable, aerodynamic and easy to fly all you need is a Windy Day ;D

There are 2 types of Camo fighter's one is small which would be the same rate as the butterfly however if you want the last one in the earlier picture series and is also is the biggest of them all then it would be Rs.1060/- inclusive of shipping

hoooooyyyy....red one...ahah....Helli..i must need one red...and i got the superhero kite this morning...its nice..but all of it's carbon fibre rods were broken..so now me and Manoj are making thin strips from bamboo...with circular saw..please reserve one red kite for me...

Amit..all we are in a great excitement here...but its heavy raining outside..kite is ready now and perfect with bamboo strips..i used a spar from a reaper at back..its ok..i have a plan to add some L E Ds on the kite without disturbing the kite.so it will be a great view at night..now i am waiting for the red one...anyhow, thanks for the carbon fibers that i can use for my micro models...hi..hi.. (:|~ :salute:

It's very simple VC bai,
1) Unfold the kite.
2) Fit the long rod by inserting both ends into the holes/socket provided at the tip of each wings and tie it with the ribbon provided on the fuse.
3) The same way fit the short rod into the tail, but there is no ribbon to tie it and leave it free.
4) Tie the line into the first hole from front under the fuse.

And there you go fly......

No need to cut the rods they should make an Arc when conneted at both ends (both small and big rods ) the Big one should be tied and not necessarly on the boom it self but .....I think I will call you it will be eaiser to explan ..

Could you tell us the size of the floor tiles Appear to be 2ft x2 ft. Most of your pix are against that background and it would give an idea of the size.

I have a couple of kites like these- always carry them in the carto the field- something to fly if the model is not airworthy or it is too windy to fly. great fun.

I use a nylon/polyester braided fishing line. Costed me Rs. 40 for around 300-400 metres (2 latai ful- i don't know the English word for latai). I use a connector for fishing lines, so it takes 10 seconds to change kites.
These kites are great. The roll up into a small bundle and since they are nylon, they aren't fragile

Feedback from a satisfied buyer.
Bought 2 kites from Heliflyer red butterfly & big plane.
Got prompt replies and information during the purchaseFor some reason there was a delay by the courier- took a week from delhi to chennai. On the fourth day I got a call from Heli flyer asking if i got the package. He tracked the package with the courier chap at chennai and kept me updated about the progress. Now how many buyers would bother after they send you the tracking number.
Just a word of suggestion. The packaging was in a sturdy plastic tube. There was one long CF rod that broke during shipping.
If the CF rods were put into one of the plastic conduits used for electrical wire, it may prevent damage during shipping.Because it is really diffficult to protect a single 5mm CF tube 4 feet long while shipping.
