@ankurkaul17 it costs 19k to import a hero 3 white edition....
and customs ??
Hero 3 white is equivalent to Hero 1
Hero 3 silver is equivalent to Hero 2
Hero 3 black is new
last i checked hero 2 was for 19k-20k....
Leave it ankurkaul, this sale isn't for those who do not what is being offered. With the included accessories, I think it is a deal.
Btw going to add another freebie. Video out cable for fpv guys !!
You are right that a GoPro brand new is about Rs 9000

There is a catch however. You have to have a friend traveling to the U.S. and he can pick up one for you.
So, perhaps the price is somewhat fair after all due to shipping costs and customs tax?
Yup... I guess the price is fair, including sourcing etc, though I know some people who just recently got hero 3's for around 18-19k, including customs.....:)

I'm all for free speech to include pointing out fair prices. I don't see anything wrong with a seller asking for a really high price as long as the buyer can say "Wait, that price is really too high!"

this is a sale thread friends. not discussion about price, you can do discussion on chatter zone or discussion boards.. let the seller have the freedom to sell..this discussion killing the sale..

Contrary to your belief on the subject, Guidelines as specified by Admin says this, discussing price is
OK, seller may reduce price or throw in a freebee (like gaurav did in this case, a video out cable) or he might ship for free, discussion on price is also remember
A Free Bump . Grant the buyer intelligence to read the discussion and make up his mind. My humble submission

Dear all -
9. One of RC India's goals is to prevent its members (especially beginners) from overpaying for RC items. Towards this goal, it is deemed OK that if the SAME item (as the one put on sale) is available LOCALLY for a better price, then it is OK for others members to POLITELY point it out to the seller in private or in public, and request him to adjust his pricing. It is NOT OK for members to mock the asking price of items on sale. Any comment on pricing should be with adequate reference to sources that demonstrate better LOCAL pricing on the same item. This is true for both new-in-box items, and used items. If a seller cannot entertain others pointing out CURRENT LOCAL market prices on the same item in his sales thread, please do NOT post the item for sale on RC India. At the same time, other members (buyers or not) who comment on "For Sale" threads without adequate confirmed alternate sources and prices will be unwelcome on this forum.
Rcpilotacro, I totally agree and appreciate. The forum should remain an open place for everyone and help the buyer make a judicious decision.
In this case its just not the camera but accessories also that, imo justify the price.

absolutely, my point is not of the price, i am sure it is fair, my point is what Admin says, point out if it is more, counter it with (a) Price of the accessories (b) throw in freebees shipping etc
Free bump. :)

Have you heard of this joke
Rule Number 1 "Boss is always right"
Rule Number 2 "if he is not, read rule number 1"
you free bump reminded me of Rule Number 10 (A rule after Rule Number 9 posted above), which is appended below:-

Dear all -
10. Please do NOT "bump" (that is, posting something in the thread so that it shows up in the "Recent" lists) too frequently. If you must, please bump your sales threads once in every 3 to 4 days. The logic is quite simple... if everyone who has an item for sale starts bumping everyday, the forum would be flooded with these bogus posts (which do not serve much of a purpose anyways).
:giggle:
Now!! this is a Free bump :giggle:
PS

Ok lowering price to 15000 including all accessories. Hope this generates enough interest .
You might have to go on eBay to check comparable prices for used GoPro Hero with some extras?
