All -

RC India celebrated two years last month, and we have passed 3K members too.  On this occasion, we are offering another radio as a sweepstakes prize.

It is a Futaba T7CHP (heli model, with full aircraft capabilities) 72Mhz radio, with two R127DF 7 channel dual conversion FM receivers on channel 40.  This is a used radio, and one line at the bottom of the LCD display is not clear (you can see it in the pictures), but it does not affect its use (including seeing the trim settings for rudder and aileron).  There was no manual with it, so I have included the manual for a 7C 2.4Ghz radio, as most the information is similar between them.

Anyone who has posted at least twice on the forum in 2011 is eligible. To ensure that someone who already has radios do not keep this radio just because they were picked a winner, a token price of :Rs: 2500 will be levied from the winner.  We will consider waiving/reducing this charge later on, depending on where it goes etc ;)

The draw will be head on 1st of May, 2011.

Good luck everyone

It should go to some one who is one channel short on his radio to fly a full house control glider and loves FM transmitters, just saying :-*

While I see your point, we shall remain free on this one too.  I know people who have visit the forum as guests for months before they registered.  There are others who registered and do login daily, but did not make a single post for many months.

We wil leave it to the people to decide when they want to participate (or not) :)  Especially beginners who are just learning by observing.  We would rather see beginners reading and gaining knowledge, than asking questions which have already been asked many number of times !

We used to be post hungry where we wanted higher Google rankings, but that goal is pretty much achieved, and we have become the biggest RC forum in India (thanks to all of the people here).

yes sir has a point , there should also be a criteria like what a person will do with this tx if he already got many

iamahuman

Hey Vineet,I don't see any accusations being made.I would suggest you modify your post accordingly and you don't need to defend yourself. Also, post count doesn't mean anything.

My earlier post was in general  and It will be helpful for future sweepstakes. Each time there is a sweepstake I could see this problem. Atleast in that case there would be statistics collected from several moths.

I guess everyone is conveniently forgetting/missing the fact that for a beginner, the best HELP is to just read the information here to learn about new things, and NOT ask questions about things already discussed (unless there is something new about the question itself).

No disrespect, but I would like to highlight the fact again that we have no coercion. People can post when they choose, and only if they want.  This is the reason why we kept the number of posts required to participate in the sweepstakes as 2, not 20.  I believe it makes people comfortable about this forum long term.

I know some members who don't work on computers for their day jobs and would rather be on the flying field in their free time but still manage to login to keep in touch with the latest happenings. When it comes to presents and gifts, ratings and rankings should be kept aside and rankings based on number of posts or logged in time is pointless

A very valid POV, instead of mindless/repetitive posts it is better to watch and learn, watch and learners too should have a chance.

If I get the computerised radio, at least mixing and control would be better at field and then v-tail mixing, Elevon mixing would require no mechanical way for me like below. Moreover, I can offer for demonstration & Use my radios to new members of our newly instructed BE&SU Aero-modeling  club as it is just a baby and no one of us have computerised radio for demonstration and hands on flying adjustment for those mixing.

Already donated from my side
======================

6.) Hot wire cutter (20 gm of 40SWG nicrome, 40V,5A Supply, 4A Variac, Multimeter).
7.) different depron packing (High dencity) is kept available for hot wire cuttng and finishing.
8.) 20 micron golden covering for gliders 24 Sheets (1 Dista).

10) Printed SPAD details in coloured photos.
11) 50 watt Soldering Iron with 50 gms of solder.
12) plenty of wire. nuts, screws of diff. size.
13) Sharp knife 12mm & 25mm with 10 blade pack.
14) PCB Drill.
15) IC Vero board 5 Nos. (for separate V-tail mixer or elevon mixer if required & we can build).

2) 6Ch E-Sky Tx+Rx, LiPO Charger, Purchased from Bill.
3) 2 channel Tx+Rx with 2 brushed motor, NiCD pack & prop purchased from KPLKUM.

Therefore the UTILIZATION of the sweeptakes be maximum I think and of course, I will be very happy to win and owning this after standing on own leg of our club (after 50 members ? or wining any prize from compitition). However, Winner is winner and no matter who win, just request to give him so that he cannot use it for business (for purchasing of another, sells it).

Rohit Gupta also doing his best. He kept his cessna RTF at our club for demonstration.

Anything missing that needs (Bulsa? I hate bulsa as costly as well as imported, rather in favor of VC to use local light wood or make SPAD or buy complete kit.)

However, i don't prefer canvassing but doing here for kind consideration and grater application & Utilisation of the sweeptakes and favouring if available). Will post further after the exam of the members.

Now sharing with you another grate sweeptake as under. Link hidden for 1egality as  dont want to litter.

Again... no need to opt in, and no need to state YOUR need for the item.  If you win in, you win it ! And you are welcome to do anything with it, including refusing it if you truly don't have any use for it... or pass it on to someone needy that you know.

It is just good human nature to realize that there are many who would really benefit from it.
