Complete with 2600 mah Fromeco and Fromeco Wolverine Switch. watch out this space for build and fly log

CARF's Claim
With your CARF-Models Yak 2.1m, you can laugh about that. There is no way to see any fatigue even after 100s of flights, if you look just a little bit at your plane from time to time. The whole full-composite structure is so stiff and strong, that it really resists the vibrations. Forever.

PS
my colour scheme is blue, orange too looks gorgeous

Gutsy sir
can you just post some more pics of your Yak from Rc bazaar
and also please suggest means to convert this from electric to glow
http://www.rcbazaar.com/products/631-yak-54.aspx

and any idea on conversion of this

I will, conversion to glow should be easy, get a variable mount (it is longer) from the cowl to firewall length and the thust line got to match. She is naturally tail heavy , so you can easily mount a 46 size glow. Bring fuel tank closer to cg. Variation of cg with and without fuel is quite a bit if you mount the tank traditionally, rest , like I told you , tele help.
Cessna looks flimsy to me, yak is fibre glass body and balsa wing, very sturdy machine.

Gusty

Check out the "Bluebird" servos from HK. They are made in Taiwan. I have used their high speed and high torque servos and found them to be exceptional and an absolute bargain when you look at the pricing.

Hi

Please consider Hitec 7955TG. It is a very good servo for 50cc planes. I have used them in my 50cc for a Year now.

Cheers

What is the size of Dubro tank you want ? Along with that you would be needing a Dubro gas conversion stopper. The link is mentioned below http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXD755&P=7
Also what size Tygon you want ?
If you are in a hurry I can send you, and once you get these items, then you could replace it to me.
Regards,
Jamal Ahmad.

It a very nice airplane, and quite simple to built and setup. But flys very well. What engine and electronics have you got in lined for this model ?

Jamal,
1.Engine and etc Rep #1
2. Servo Mi Digital High Torque Metal Gear Servo JR/Hitec 11.8kg / 0.07 / 61g. This is a super fast servos, borders on clairvoyance :giggle: (Had hard time deciding between reliability and speed so bought both, deciding to go with magnetic induction servos)
3. looking for Dubro #424 tank with the gas stopper.

4. CF Tail wheel set is here, will start the basic build soon.

I took you a while to bring that baby on the bench. ;)

I built mine last summer, flew for a while and than someone at my flying field got interested in her. Sold it to the guy who is now a happy owner of it.

It flew very well. I had the following into it.

DLE 55 with Bowman ring upgrade on a stock muffler
Hitech 7955TG on the controls while Hitec 7950TH on the rudder.
Hitec 5625MG (high speed digital) on throttle
SWB 2" servo arms all around
Smart Fly Sport Plus (power distribution system) with pin/flag failsafe switch
 Smart Fly ignition regulator
Fromeco Relion (2600mah) batteries (2 on the Smart Fly and one on the ignition)
 High quality extension wires
Fortitude RC 16oz gas tank and smoke oil tank with Sullivan skywriter smoke pump

The kit does not come with main wheels, tail wheel assembly and also does not come with a spinner. So got 4" Sullivan Skylite wheels, a nice quality CF tail wheel assembly and a 4" CF spinner.

I ran a build log for it and had many build photos. Let me know if you are interested and I will be happy to post them here.

Here are some photos when I had it. Also flew it at an airshow.

Thank you. You should be fine with your electronics and the setup you are planning to put in a place. Try to implement a dual battery redundant setup for the rx. A cheap insurance and will give you peace of mind. I go with the Smart Fly mainly for the battery redundant setup and servo matching for my bigger planes with multiple servos on a single surface.

I haven't seen the Art Tech Hobbies distribution board. Do they make one?

I have seen one from Hobby King sold as a Turnigy brand. Must by some kind of a copy of the Smart Fly Sport Plus.

http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__25189__Turnigy_Min_Power_Distributor_UBEC_Yellow_.html

I have used the Powerbox Royal in my 35% Dalton Extra 260 for sometime.... one of my friend here is building a Don Smith B-24 (146") Liberator so I gave that to him since it was an overkill for a 100CC. I went with Smart Fly EQ6. They both work the same thing where the Powerbox has an edge over the Smart Fly boards because the Powerbox also supports dual receiver redundant systems as well where it will hop on between the two receivers. The downside is that it is a little pricey. :)

Thank you for your kind note. I am honored to be part of RCIndia. I have been a member here for sometime and love to read all the hobby related stuff happening here. Clubs in the big cities in Pakistan have been organizing country wide funflys and competitions similar to IMAC and Freestyle. How wonderful it would be to have hobbyists from both countries fly together during a funfly or a competition. :)

Your Fromeco Wolverine Switch also has the dual battery redundant option so you can use that without bothering of going with any power distribution system and in case of all HV setup and if you really want to keep things plain simple, plug in two rx batteries into your Futaba 6208SB since it is also a HV receiver.
