My RCB OS10 has a 2200mah 7.4V 2S 8C battery. But I can't find the exact replacement. So, Can I use a 2200mah 7.4V  2S "30C" instead?
I have very limited knowledge on Batteries. Please kindly elaborate on the Specs. Thank You :hatsoff:

Here are some battery basics:
1. A 1000mah can provide 1000ma or 1amp current for 1 hour
2. 30C means you can draw max 30amps from a 1000mah battery (usually for shrt bursts, not continuous)
3. If you draw 10amps current, a 1000mah battery will last 6 minutes
4. Normally we don't use more than 75% of the capacity before recharging
5. Nominal voltage of a 1s (single cell) lipo) is 3.7 volts and 4.2v at full charge. So 7.4/8.4 for a 2s.
6. If not using for several weeks, store at 3.85v per cell (50% charge)
7. Avoid draining below say 3.5v per cell

The current draw of an RC Tx will be of the order of 100ma (55ma quoted in Flysky I6 specs)
So a 1000mah battery will get used at the rate of only 0.1C, ie, it will last for 10 hours in theory. Or at leasr 5 hours in practice.

For use in a Tx, large mah capacity and high C rating is a waste of money.

So buy a 1000mah 2s of the lowest C rating that you can find.
Check the size to ensure it'll fit in the Tx.
Check for matching connector so that you dont have solder a new connector to the lipo. Cutting the lipo wires and soldering a new connector is DANGEROUS and requires CAUTION. 2s lipos usually come with a Jst connector, which I think is what your Tx has.

Hope this helps.

So, except for the extra waste of money a 30C battery won't negatively affect the Tx (which originally comes with a 8C battery)?
