Title: APM 2.6 or DJI Naza Lite
Post by: bhaveshsangani on May 19, 2015, 08:49:08 PM
Hi all,

I am planning to upgrade my FC.
Currently looking at the below 2 options. Need some expert opinion

1. APM 2.6 full kit

http://robokits.co.in/quadrotors-hexarotors/flight-controllers/arducopter-apm-2.6-full-kit-gps-power-module-telemetry

2. DJI Naza Lite

http://rcmumbai.com/index.php/product/dji-naza-m-lite-multi-rotor-flight-controller-with-gps/

I have been reading about them and need some advice.

Thanks in advance

DJI NAZA lite is 1000000000000000000000000000000000000 times better than Apm 2.6 , flash it with v2 firmware makes it even better get it from rcmumbai..........

Apm 2.6 is best among all FC in market but for perfect mission planning and precise work go to 3dr.com

Had issues with Naza Lite, Naza Fly Away issue, that is very common. My Quad flew away on its own n got struck onto a tree. Dont ask me how I got it back. V2 upgrade may resolve this prob, but I am not getting enough confidence on Naza anymore. If the Naza is in good mood then it is a Gem, it works like anything amazing in fact butt flyaway is like a parcel with it. Ve not used APM but many says it is one of the best if setup correctly.

I'm using APM 2.6 and I'm loving it. Initially I was frustrated with PID tuning (lots of crashes & broken props) but the final result is awesome. I have no experience in flying DJI products but you will get a lot of features in Arducopter than Naza.

Go with APM if you need more advanced features but ready to tinker things around. If just need plug and play type things  go with NAZA but heard from many people about flyaway.

Fly away only occurs when the calibration and correct arming procedure is not followed
