wire it in the sequence and try i suppose that should work
where did u buy this board from ...?
any ways....you can always check and switch the channels using the GCS software in the input section
Close up picture of my cable ,white cable seems like coming out of wrong place too ???
@madaquif ,I bought it from QuadKopters.com.Where to connect on the 3 pins ,as mine is having single pin connector?
@cyberhack,I have watched the video before, that person is also using a cable with 3 pin connector, also cable colours are matching the reference picture.
As per reference picture the white wire has to be 3rd wire, but in my case its 5th !
as suggested by cyberhack try connecting in sequence.....if it does not work....pm satya sir...he should be the best person to guide you.....
Done that and waiting for his help.
I came across a similar or exact same issue in rcgroups.com
They say that this cable is needs to be used after checking polarity and can be dangerous,if not properly connected ???

Lol nthng is coming out wrong from no where brother chillax
Am sure satya sir will help you out as per now if u want you may connect the wires as mentioned in the pic and links I mean the one having all 3 colored wire put it in throttle and rest put it in the sequence they come out
Don't refer anythng for now Jus's put the wires in a assumed sequence i know that the bec having all 3 colors are coming randomly from different sequence Jus's assumed it as throttle and for rest put it in number wise
Cross check with the GUI connecting ur board to PC or laptop
Just follow the sequence of wires , ignore the color.
connect red and black wire to power the receiver all the pins in middle row is Positive and last row is negative in all receiver.
You have to take care of this red and black wire only, because these are the power wires. where ever you connect the other wires, it wont cause any damage.
oh , it's now only came to mind that you still don't have a receiver !! , so please don't worry about this now, i can help you by marking in receiver if you want.
I am indeed a bit worried because ,some are saying this could smoke the rx.
And the suggested cable is below
I am leaving the topic for the time being,on the basis of support offered to me ,I will keep updated as am yet to get my receiver from sooraj.(@sooraj,kindly send it with markings made -but can that be useful ?as problem is with wire colours),as am a total newbie ,here- so my doubts may appear silly to veterans! 8-)
Trial and error method must work out ok,but if the colour coding was perfect it would have been great for newbies.
I was just checking all the parts and going through various videos. But couldn't see a cable I had hence got confused, thanks everyone for the support, once again.
yeah, leave it for now...
I ill mark the receiver, for that plaese reply the colors of wire from black wire side sequentially.
is this sequence correct for your wire ? from left to right : black, red, blue1, yellow1, white, green, blue2 , yellow2 ???
Yes it is,I have already sent those pictures to you!
@sooraj they are same as on my cc3d i suppose :) u may refer that ...
Satya Gupta of QuadKopters have promised to give me detailed instructions ,I am overwhelmed by the support I got from everyone ,thanks to Satya and other RC india members :hatsoff:
It seems that most users have a cable with similar colour coding here, with two yellows and two blues.
Anil sir, i have responded to your mail. If you want i can put the same details here too..
@Satya,thank you for the detailed explanation :hatsoff:.If you don't mind ,please share it here so that others too will be benefitted.
So the only wires need to be worried about are red and black ,right?
One more thing I wish to clarify, where to connect the single connector on to the 3 rows of pins on reciever ?middle one?
On that receiver , if held like as in pic, top row of pins are signals, middle row is 5v and bottom row is ground. You can connect the red wire anywhere in the middle row and black wire anywhere in the bottom row

Got it {:)}
I tried connecting cc3d,every time during the upgrade process,I get the error"timed out while waiting for the board to be fully connected".Tried with different cables.Lights blue blinking and green steady light are present.Even open pilot software wizard shows tx and rx status connected, but not able to proceed.
I am unable to progress with upgrade step in openpilot software ,I get error" main board took long time and connection timed out
tried different cables, lights are blinking on board
please see screen shot
tried with both mac and windows pc,same error
Restart your PC, connect your CC3D, and open openpilot GCS after a while.. Usually the gcs should open up with the CC3D already detected and connected. Now enter vehicle setup wizard, from there upgrade firmware on the board.
If you don't know what you are doing, install team viewer on your PC and we can solve this out together
try doing the manual procedure
Ok will try that
@ Sooraj ,will do that, thanks
I successfully updated the board with previous version of ground station

Why is the OP in the habit of creating multiple threads on the same issue ? :banghead:
Merged... please avoid doing this, as it affects continuity and confuses readers.
That was not intentional ,I was using my phone, its hard to get proper menus in small screen.
1 am also facing the same problem. How do i proceed?
can you explain in detail ?Is your cc3d also came with single cables ?or is it non detection of board by pc?

The board is not getting recognized is the problem. Mr. Louise has sent the board back to me and i was able to connect and instal firmware. I am doubting that the drivers were not installed correctly causing the problem
Is there any one who can help him please? he is from Kerala.
The board need to be connected to PCs only after starting the vehicle setup wizard,if one tries to start process with board already connected ,it won't work will return with an error message.
I too am using same cc3d from quadkopters, mine flies well ....
Mr louis , pm me your contact number. We can help you..
@Satya sir, please see PM.
Sooraj i have sent details to you.
