Hi,
I am trying to figure out differential throttle control on my RDS8000 and wanted help from somebody who has tried it already. I have successfully implemented a C-mix with the throttle as master and ch7 as slave. Both the motors are responding properly and are running in sync.
How do I implement differential throttle now, that is, how will I have the rudder input control the speed on individual motors in order to facilitate a turn?
Pls help ???
Anybody?
AFAIK rudder to throttle mix function is not there in RDS8000
Yes indeed.
Can i mix it differently instead?
You can use a V-Tail mixer and branch out to rudder separately.
It will affect throttle even with elevator input. V tail to throttle out is not a good idea
Here is what you can try . i do not have a sanwa but the general
idea should work
1. connect the two esc signal to channel 1 and 5
2 setup the two esc as differential ailerons i.e response to aileron stick
3 create a mix so that moving ch4 - rudd stick affects aileron channels 1 & 5
4. create a mix so that moving throttle channel affects channel 1 & 5
The above are three way mixes
if the radio does not allow 3 way mixes then you will need 4 mixes
lastly - connect the rudder servo to channel 4 ( as per normal )
if you do try - let me know if it works
How far did you get with this?
